Master of Social Work

MSW Curriculum – Hands-On Experience
Through Mason's MSW program, you'll take part in two supervised field practicums in a real-world social service organization. You'll put your learning to use, then discuss your experience in a bimonthly seminar and examine how theory informs your work with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
In total, you'll explore 60 credit hours of the latest research when it comes to improving the lives of others, with a focus on using social work to advance human rights, equity, and social justice for all kinds of people. Course topics include:
